How can I withdraw securities from my Exante account and transfer them to another broker?

You can withdraw securities from your EXANTE account by following a few simple steps:

1. Log into the Client’s Area.

2. Go to the ‘Account’ tab and select the subaccount from which you want to transfer the securities; click the Transfer → Securities Transfer tab.

If you have multiple subaccounts in your account, please choose the subaccount from which you want to transfer the securities. Click on its icon and then click on the “Transfer” section of the “Account” tab in the Client’s area.

3. Specify transfer details:

a. Account Holder Name - your name and surname.

b. Account Number at the Financial Institution - your account number in another FI.

c. Name of Financial Institution - provide the full name of the other Financial Institution.

d. Contact Person and Details - please provide the email address of the person or department on the receiving side.

e. Transfer Reference - additional information from your institution.

f. SSI - Standard Settlement Instructions. If you do not have it, write “No SSI”.

g. Transfer Details - if you do not have them, please write “No Transfer Details”.

4. Indicate the quantity of transferred securities.

5. Click on “Transfer”.

Which transfer method supports EXANTE's Free of Payment deliveries or Delivery versus Payment (DVP)?

EXANTE currently only supports FD (Free of Payment Deliveries).

The “Free of Payment Deliveries” transfer method is a type of securities transfer where the securities are moved from one account to another without the corresponding transfer of funds. This means that no money is exchanged during the securities transfer. It is typically used in specific situations, such as when transferring securities between accounts owned by the same individual.

What is the fee for withdrawing securities?

Each security transfer incurs a fee of 150 EUR per ISIN.

How long does it take to withdraw your security?

Withdrawing securities can be a complex process, making it challenging to provide precise timelines for the completion of transfers. Several factors can influence the duration, including the involvement of multiple financial institutions and compliance checks. While we strive to make this process as smooth and efficient as possible, each transfer is unique, and the time required may vary.

What is required to process a security transfer from EXANTE to another financial institution?

You will need an Account Opening Letter (AOL) or any other account confirmation letter or statement to verify that the client requesting the transfer from EXANTE is the same individual holding the account to which the securities will be transferred. This document must be dated within the last six months and include the full name of the account holder at the other brokerage institution.

What should I do if the form is not available?

The securities withdrawal form may not be accessible in your Client’s Area because you do not have any securities in your account.

I am unable to transfer the funds. How can I submit a request?

Please note that instruments categorized as funds cannot be transferred through the Client’s Area. For such requests, please contact your Account Manager or the Client Services team.

Where can I see the status of my security transfer request?

The history of your security transfer requests is available in your Client’s area → Portfolio → Transfer → Securities → Activity.

What are the statuses of the securities requests?

The securities transfer requests may have the following statuses:

Active - the securities have not left EXANTE yet and your request is passing all the necessary internal checks.

On-hold - the securities transfer request can be on hold due to incomplete documentation, compliance checks, or pending document requests.

Executed - the requested transfer of assets from the EXANTE account to the account with another broker has been successfully completed.

Rejected - the request to transfer assets was denied, often due to incorrect information or failure to meet specific requirements.
