Option Board

Updated today

The Option Board module is a special summary table that displays real-time market data for various option contracts of a single underlying asset. It allows traders to analyse prices, compare strikes and expirations, and place trades directly from the table.

Where to find it

You can find the Option Board module in the left-hand toolbar on the website platform, under the Quotes section.

General overview

The Option Board is arranged as a two-sided table:

  • Calls on the left

  • Puts on the right

The strike prices are listed in the centre. Each row represents one strike at a particular expiration date. You can sort the strikes in ascending or descending order by clicking the arrow icon.

Orders and positions

Orders and positions are displayed directly in the Option Board table. If a trade is made for a Call option, it appears on the Call side of the board in the Strike column. If it’s a Put option, it appears on the Put side in the Strike column. Each strike may show two indicators — one for orders and one for positions. They sit next to each other, separated by a slash.

The interface uses plus (+) and minus (–) signs along with green and red colours to indicate direction. They are displayed in the table header.
