Display modes

EXANTE Pulse offers two display modes: standard and compact. The mode adjusts automatically based on the module’s size. In standard mode (the default view when the module is larger), the last story item you viewed remains open on the right side for quick reference. In compact mode (activated when the module is resized to smaller), story items open as expandable panels at the bottom when clicked, ensuring smooth usability in any layout.

Feed

Your feed is always ordered by instrument weight: the higher the weight, the higher the item appears. This weight is based on the number of unique transactions associated with that instrument. Additionally, a small "P" icon will mark news items related to instruments you currently hold a position in, with a handy tooltip that provides details about your current position.

Sentiments

EXANTE Pulse gathers market sentiments, giving you a quick snapshot of the market mood for each news item. These AI-generated sentiments are based on an analysis of multiple factors, primarily news from various outlets.

Note! As these are AI-generated, they may occasionally be inaccurate and should not be considered investment advice.

Display

In the main news feed, sentiments appear as small icons. When you open a news item, the sentiment appears both as an icon and as a descriptive label for the story.

Types

There are three sentiment types:

  • Bullish: Indicates a positive outlook.

  • Neutral: Indicates a balanced or unchanging outlook.

  • Bearish: Indicates a negative outlook.

Colours

To ensure visibility across different platform themes, the background colours of these sentiment labels will adjust based on your chosen colour scheme:

  • Bullish: Will feature an ascending colour (typically green or blue).

  • Neutral: Will feature a neutral colour (typically grey).

  • Bearish: Will feature a descending colour (typically red or orange).

Instruments

EXANTE Pulse helps you act on insights by connecting directly to your trading instruments.

When a news item, or ‘story’, is generated by our AI systems to give you a concise summary, it includes more than just the distilled information. Underneath each AI-generated story, you'll always find the original news articles used to create it.

Each story also features an instrument picker showing instruments linked to the news articles. These work just like any other instruments on the platform: simply click on an instrument to select it. If the chart module is open, it will update, and you’ll be able to trade the instrument right away.

Each instrument displayed includes its current price and daily change. Currently, only stocks and swaps (crypto) are supported.
