Account closure due to inactivity

Updated over a week ago

This article explains the circumstances under which a customer's account may be closed due to inactivity. It specifically defines the terms 'Dormant' and 'Inactive' in relation to account status.

Under what circumstances can your Exante account be closed?

Accounts may be closed under the following conditions:

  • Dormant Account: The account has not been funded and has had no transactions for over 12 months.

  • Inactive Account: The account has not been used for more than 24 months since the date of the last transaction, has no open positions, and has a balance of less than 100 EUR.

Can I restore my Exante account?

Once your account is closed, it cannot be restored. You can only create a new account using a different email address. Any remaining funds prior to account closure might be deducted as inactivity fees, in accordance with EXANTE’s fee schedule.

To proceed, complete the registration process by providing the necessary details and documents to verify your identity, following the same steps as the original registration process.
