This article outlines the leverage rates and margin requirements for various financial instruments. It also explains how to find detailed leverage information for specific instruments in the EXANTE desktop trading platform.

Note! The requirements in the table do not apply to all instruments. The specific risk profile and other factors, such as volatility, liquidity, and the client's classification status, can affect individual leverage rates.

Client Classification & Leverage Access

Retail clients do not have access to leverage on US or UK stocks (excluding CFDs). If you would like to trade stocks with leverage, you must be reclassified as a Professional Client.

How to check the leverage rate for a specific instrument:

  1. Right-click on the chosen instrument from the Instrument list

  2. Select “Instrument Info” from the dropdown menu

  3. In the “Instrument Info” tab, find “Required Margin”/”Leverage rate”
