1) What is the essence of the tax service?
EXANTE helps its clients from Poland prepare annual tax reports. This service costs 35 EUR.
This promotion aims to significantly enhance the user experience for the clients by providing them with fast and cheap taxation reports. In previous years our clients had to prepare their reports by themselves, paying 50–500 EUR per report depending on their service provider or tax advisor. Our offer removes one of the significant entry barriers associated with international brokers and brings us to a level of service provided by domestic brokerages. Here are more details.
Our tax reporting process is slightly different from domestic brokerages as EXANTE does not provide official tax declaration forms (e.g. PIT8C in Poland). Instead, our partner provides calculations for clients to submit to the Tax Office. EXANTE is not a tax agent in Poland and does not submit reports for its clients automatically. EXANTE pays for the service of its partner company PitFx to do the hardest part of the job – all the calculations according to Polish taxation rules and the correct official exchange rates applied.
2) What do I need to do to receive the tax calculation?
It's as simple as just two clicks: tick the checkbox to agree with the terms and conditions of the offer and then click the request button. Your report will be ready in 6-8 weeks.
You will receive a notification when your report is ready. Download it from your Clients Area and submit it to the Tax Service.
The reports are handled by our trusted partner PitFx, and we ensure your data's full security and anonymity. Your agreement with the offer conditions implies your consent to disclose the data of your financial transactions for purposes of tax calculations to PitFx.
Authorised EXANTE employees will gain access to your account to facilitate tax report preparation. We'll act upon your explicit consent and strictly within permissions relevant to the task. We'll only use the information required for the report and guarantee the safety and integrity of your data. Our account access will be revoked right after we complete the report generation procedures. Thank you for your understanding.
3) When will I receive my tax calculation?
Your report will be ready in 6-8 weeks after ticking the checkbox. You will receive a notification when your report is ready. Download it from your Clients Area and submit it to the Tax Service.
4) How will I receive the tax calculation?
The tax calculation will appear in your Clients Area in the same section where you had expressed your consent to the Client Authorization Agreement.
5) Is the tax calculation free for EXANTE clients?
The client shall not be charged for the services rendered; the service fees shall be covered by us.
6) Is EXANTE my tax agent?
No. EXANTE acts as a middleman. The actual tax calculations are done by PitFx (pitfx.pl). PitFx is also not a client's tax agent. The client is solely responsible for submitting his tax report to the Tax Office.
7) Who is Pitfx.pl?
PitFx is one of the leading Polish tax accounting services for stock investors.
It is owned by 4XTRADER SP Z O O, a company registered with KRS number: 0000328339, entered in the Entrepreneurs Register of the National Court Register of the Republic of Poland, held by the District Court for the City of Szczecin-Centrum in Szczecin, XIII Commercial Department of the National Court Register. The company is run by Jerzy Żyjewski, an accountant with 18 years of experience and a licence to provide accounting services with number 4439/2003 - issued by the Ministry of Finance.
8) Is Pitfx.pl and Client Data safe?
Pitfx.pl is primarily a landing page, not the actual service itself. No data is going to be processed through the Pitfx.pl website, Data will be transferred by secure methods. Pitfx processes the data on offline computers only and stores data on an external drive stored in a safe location. The company itself began in 2009 and has been providing trading tax calculation services since 2017. EXANTE transfers to PitFx only anonymized data.
9) Will my name and contact information be shared with Pitfx?
No. We will only share a transactions report which contains your financial markets, transactions and your account ID.
10) What happens if the Tax Office is questioning the calculations?
Client is supplied not only with the basic result of the calculation but also with proper in-depth calculations that support the final result. Those supplements prove to be sufficient for the Tax Office according to our Pitfx experience.
11) What happens if the Tax Office fines the client for a wrong calculation?
In an unlikely event of a fine issued to a client by a Tax Office - Pitfx is insured to cover the cost of interest of wrongly calculated tax.
