To use the EXANTE web trading tool, choose Trading > Web Trading in your Client’s area.
How do I log in to the platform?
To log in to the desktop platform, please select the ‘Demo’ environment. Login and password are the same as for your Client’s area. In case you accidentally choose the ‘Live’ area, you will receive a message: ‘Wrong email or password.’
For accessing the mobile application area, you can use the same credentials as for the Desktop product, yet opting for Demo. To start working with the EXANTE application, you may set up a special four-number PIN code to secure your trading area. To skip this step, press the button in the corner of the screen.
How do I start using the EXANTE desktop platform?
Welcome to the EXANTE platform - the investor-centric easy-to-use trading solution. The platform focuses on smooth user experience and adheres to the intuitive modular design, ensuring seamless operation for newcomers and seasoned users alike.
Start with the user manual and get to know every module step by step.
Map of the EXANTE trading platform
By default, you can see the main menu in the upper part of the screen. Feel free to drag and drop modules across the working area and change module size by moving the borders of the chosen area. In case you wish to view a single chart only, minimise other modules by clicking the small rectangular icon in the right-upper corner of the chosen window. To re-open the module(s), click on the same icon.
On the left side of the screen, you can use ‘Instruments’ to choose any required instrument from EXANTE’s broad selection or use Search.
The central area of the platform is largely filled with the ‘Chart’ module. However, you can also add the ‘Basket trader’, ‘Price alert’, ‘Account summary’ and ‘Bond screener’ modules to this area. The right part of the screen hosts the order setup modules: ‘Click-trade’, ‘Order’ and ‘Market depth’.
The lower part of the working area mainly shows basic account information in the ‘Margin report’ module: current NAV, available balance, margin percentage, the amount used for margin. Next to the ‘Account’ window, you can see the modules ‘Current orders’ and ‘Open positions’ that help you track current deals. You will also receive notifications on your trading activities in the module 'Notifications'.
For EXANTE’s basic settings and options, navigate to the upper right corner of the window. First off, make sure you enable trading by using the switch. Clicking the gear, you will open the ‘Settings’ window with four modules available.
In General Settings, you can change the platform language, main currency, time zone, colour scheme and default module displayed in the central area. You can modify your notification settings using ticks in the module with the bell icon. Choose the ‘Chart’ module in the ‘Settings’ area to enable a required mode for your trading strategy. Advanced Settings will allow you to change a chosen layout, manage backup and deleted profiles, change the region and reset your password.
After applying new settings, the program will require a restart. Once opened, the new setup will be applied with all data saved.
How do I set an order with the EXANTE trading platform?
There are many ways to set an order with the EXANTE trading tool:
- Open the ‘Click-Trade’ or ‘Order’ module using the main menu. Drag and drop the instrument from ‘Instruments’ to the opened module.
- Right-click the instrument in ‘Instruments’ to open the required trading area (either ‘Click-Trade’ or ‘Order’).
- Use the ‘Open positions’, ‘Current orders’ or ‘Account summary’ modules to restore previously set orders and perform operations with the same instrument. Just right-click the position and open ‘Click-Trade’ or ‘Order’.

Why can’t I place an order?
Here are the possible reasons and solutions:
No account selected.
Click on the alert and choose your competition account from the dropdown menu.
You are trading an instrument outside the allowed setup (forex, crypto, stocks, etc.)
Use only the instruments specified in the competition announcements and the ‘Cash’ module.
Insufficient margin for your account.
Choose a smaller volume for the traded instrument or cancel previous orders.
Tip! Use our desktop platform to receive informative alerts when you can’t place an order.

Where can I set up indicators to apply my strategy?
Indicators is a feature built in the ‘Chart’ module. All you need to do is:
- Open the Chart by double-clicking on the instrument from the ‘Instruments’ module or using drag and drop.
- Find a Settings gear and click on ‘Indicators’ to open a pop-up window with available indicators.
What is the difference between ‘Current orders’ and ‘Open positions’?
To easily view and manage Open positions - Purchased instruments stored on the account, use the ‘Open positions’ module (by default, it’s located in the lower part of the screen). You can use the gear to view priority data available from selected columns and receive updates in real-time.
Along with ‘Open positions’ in the lower part of the screen, you can check the ‘Current Orders’ module that displays new working or filled orders right after you click ‘Buy’ or ‘Sell’ in other modules. Here you can filter and sort orders by any column by clicking the column header and selecting the filters.
